Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) is India’s youngest national park located in Kullu district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India.
The park was established in 1984 and is spread over an area of 1,171 km2 at an altitude of between 1500 to 6000 meters above sea level.
The Great Himalayan National Park is habitat to numerous flora and more than 375 fauna species, including approximately 31 mammals, 181 birds, 3 reptiles, 9 amphibians, 11 annelids, 17 mollusks and 127 insects and off course lots and lots of virgin adventure.In June 2014, the Great Himalayan National Park was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.The Unesco World Heritage Site Committee granted the status to the park under the criteria of “outstanding significance for biodiversity conservation”.
There are two participation modes available as follows
Day 1 Thursday
Reach Shangharh in the morning or noon.
Stay in Chalet style homestay in Shangharh.
Lunch
Shangharh meadow visit
Bonfire, Dinner
Day 2: Friday
Breakfast in homestay
Start trek from homestay leaving extra luggage and vehicles there
Reach another meadow (mid way to top) after 4-5 hours of hike
Explore the nature around with Lunch
Bonfire, Dinner
Stay in tents
Day 3: Saturday
Breakfast at camping site
Start trekking towards top
Reach Shangharh top after 3-4 hours of steep hike
Lunch, explore the top
Trek down to last day campsite
Bonfire, Dinner
Stay in tents
Day 4: Sunday
Breakfast at camp site
Trek down to Shangharh homestay
Shangharh Village and ancient temple visit
Lunch at homestay
Start the return journey
Accommodation & Equipment
Stay will be provided on twin sharing basis in homestay on complete day 1 and day 4 till 3 PM.
Stay will be provided in tents on sharing basis (including all quality camping equipment) on day 2 & 3.
Tent options will be 2 Men/3 Men.
Sleeping bag and Mat will be alllocated individually on day 1.
Food
Veg/Nonveg Lunch and dinner will be provided in buffet on Day 1 and 4.
Veg Camp cooked Tea, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided on Day 2 and 3.
Trek Guide & Porters
A certified guide will be escorting the group for trek in GHNP.
Porters will be provided to carry the camping equipment during the trek in GHNP.
Bonfire
Bonfire will be arranged on evening of day 1, 2 and 3.
Permits
All required permits will be arranged as a part of the package.
Village Walk
An escorted village walk in the ancient village of Shagharh and Shangchul temple will be provided with interaction with the locals.
Transportation
Transportation X-Delhi will be provided for participants opting for X Delhi package. From Delhi to Aut and return a seat in AV VOLVO will be provided. From Aut to Shangharh, GHNP and return a private SUV will be provided on sharing basis. Not applicable for X Shangharh package.
Porter to carry personal stuff.They will be available on demand though.

In case of cancellation initiated from our side there will be full refunds.
In case of cancellation from participant before 10 days or more to go for event , there will be a deduction of INR 1000/- from the amount paid, rest will be refunded.
No refunds for cancellations initiated after less than 10 days to go for event.
