Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) is India’s youngest national park located in Kullu district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India.
The park was established in 1984 and is spread over an area of 1,171 km2 at an altitude of between 1500 to 6000 meters above sea level.
The Great Himalayan National Park is habitat to numerous flora and more than 375 fauna species, including approximately 31 mammals, 181 birds, 3 reptiles, 9 amphibians, 11 annelids, 17 mollusks and 127 insects and off course lots and lots of virgin adventure.In June 2014, the Great Himalayan National Park was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.The Unesco World Heritage Site Committee granted the status to the park under the criteria of “outstanding significance for biodiversity conservation”.
Day 1 Shangharh (1900 MTS ASL) to Lapah (2100 MTS ASL) – 14 KMS
Reach Shangharh in Sainj near Ropa a night before and stay in luxury homestay.
Start trek from homestay leaving extra luggage and vehicles there if any.
Reach Lapah village in GHNP after moderately tough hike of around 10 kms
Bonfire in the evening.
Stay in tents.
Day 2: Lapah (2000 MTS ASL) to Shakti (2100 MTS ASL) – 12 KMS
Reach Shakti after walking of around 12 KMS going along the river most of the time and witnessing some of the most beautiful waterfalls of GHNP.
Bonfire in the evening.
Stay in tents.
Day 3: Shakti (2100 MTS ASL) to Humkhani Meadow (2800 MTS ASL) – 6 KMS
Heavy to moderate ascent through dense forest, walnut trees and through variety of medicinal plants.
Enjoy the spectacular 360 degree views from Humkhani
Bonfire in the evening.
Stay in Forest Rest House
Day 4: Humkhani (2800 MTS ASL) to Dhel Meadow (3737 MTS ASL) – 6 KMS
Reach Humkhani meadow after some tough ascend of around 6 kms.
Bonfire in the evening.
Stay in Forest Rest House
Day 5: Rest Day at Dhel Meadow
Day hike to Jogni (Outdoor prayer site).
Spectacular Sunrise and Sunset.
Opportunity to observe wild life (Red Fox, Himalayan Tahr)
Bonfire in the evening.
Stay in tents.
Day 6: Dhel (3737 MTS ASL) to Shakti (2100 MTS ASL) – 12 KMS
Moderate descend through thick forest.
Bonfire in the evening.
Stay in tents.
Day 7: Shakti (2100 MTS ASL) to Neuli (1500 MTS ASL) – 16 KMS
Long descend alongside Sainj river.
Pickup from Neuli by vehicle and drop at Shangharh
Stay in Chalet style luxury home stay.

Day 8: Leave homestay after breakfast.

There are two participation modes available as follows
Accommodation & Equipment
Stay will be provided on twin sharing basis in homestay for two nights.
Stay will be provided in tents on sharing basis (including all quality camping equipment) on all trek days.
Tent options will be 2 Men/3 Men.
Sleeping bag and Mat will be alllocated individually on day 1.
Food
Veg/Nonveg meals will be provided in homestay.
Veg Camp cooked Tea, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided on trek days.
Trek Guide & Porters
A certified guide will be escorting the group for trek in GHNP.
Porters will be provided to carry the camping equipment during the trek in GHNP.
Bonfire
Bonfire will be arranged on all evenings provided whether permit.
Village Walk
An escorted village walk in the ancient village of Shagharh and Shangchul temple will be provided with interaction with the locals.
Transportation
Transportation from and to Delhi or any location between Delhi to Chandigarh will be provided for participants opting for X Delhi package. From Delhi to Aut and return a seat in AV VOLVO will be provided. From Aut to Shangharh, GHNP and return a private SUV will be provided on sharing basis. Not applicable for X Shangharh package.
Porter to carry personal stuff.They will be available on demand though.

In case of cancellation initiated from our side there will be full refunds.
In case of cancellation from participant before a week or more to go for event , there will be a deduction of INR 500/- from the amount paid, rest will be refunded.
No refunds for cancellations initiated after less than a week to go for event.
