Pangi Valley in Himachal Pradesh is a world in itself, a world full of ardent nature, beautiful mountains, deep valley and some really really bad roads, or better to be said no roads!
Sach Paas in the valley, at an altitude of 14,500 feet (4,400 m) remains open for vehicles between the months of mid-June and October; for rest of the time, it is covered in a white blanket of snow. The valley is populated with Bhoti people, who mostly practise Hinduism or Buddhism. ‘
Where Ladakh remains the most famous road-trip destination among the adventure lovers across the globe, Pangi valley offers its own unique and majestic vistas and share of ultimate adventurous terrain with almost no tourist traffic.
From Killar there is another top class adventure friendly road leading to Kishtwar in Kashmir better known as ‘The Cliffhanger”.
In this kick ass road trip on two and four wheelers we are going to travel to Killar from Delhi via Manali and then to Kishtwar after covering Sach Pass proceeding back to Delhi via Amritsar.
Just one thing, THIS TRIP IS NOT FOR THE FAINT HEARTED ONES OR THE TOURISTS KIND.
