UNESCO World heritage site, Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) is India’s youngest national park located in Kullu district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India.
The park was established in 1984 and is spread over an area of 1,171 km2 at an altitude of between 1500 to 6000 meters above sea level.

Shanghar is a remote & exotic Himalayan hamlet at an altitude of around 6300 feet ASL situated in Sainj valley in ecozone of GHNP and is home to beautiful giant golf ground like natural meadow hidden from onslaught of regular party tourists.
In winters months Shanghar area receive above average snowfall and the backdrop ranges remain white from December to mid April.

In this 4 nights 5 days one of it’s kind celebration program we will help you explore the virgin wilderness of Shanghar and around along with activities like snow trekking, yoga, camping while welcoming the upcoming year in a eco-friendly way.

Day By Day Plan

Day 1: ARRIVE IN SHANGHAR | UNWIND & FEEL THE CHILL

 Arrive in Shanghar
 Guided visit to serene Shanghar meadow & Shangchul Mahadev Temple, spend some time gazing the majestic views and click lot of memorable pictures
 Check in to luxury home stay rooms, have lunch
 Take some rest to acclimatise to the cold of Shanghar, explore the remote Himalayan lifestyle of villagers around. Evening hatha yoga session by expert.

DAY 1

Day 2: SNOW TREK TO GANJHAU THATCH

 Have lavish local breakfast in the morning gazing beautiful Himalayan ranges around
 Start for guided snow trek to Ganjhau Thatch above Shanghar at around 7300 ft ASL
 Trek through the lush pine trees and fresh snow for around 3 hours to reach Ghanjhau, have packed lunch after enjoying the views
 Trek back to home stay. Evening hatha yoga session by expert.

DAY 1

Day 3: MANU TEMPLE IN SHENSHAR VALLEY

 Have lavish breakfast at the stay. Today we drive to Manu temple in Shenshar
 Guided visit to beautiful Manu temple and ancient Talhera Kothi
 Drive back to Shanghar. Evening hatha yoga session by expert.

DAY 3

Day 2: WELCOME 2020 UNDER THE MILLION STARS

 Have lavish local Himalayan breakfast along with tea/coffee
 Walk through the dense Pine forest ahead of Shanghar observing the wild life of Himalayas covered in snow
 Reach a beautiful waterfall in the wilderness of GHNP Ecozone near to Barshanghar village
 Reach back camp site for today in Shanghar followed by lunch and some rest in the tents
 Bonfire, local unlimited Dinner, mild Music, unlimited snacks, bonfire and stories till the dawn of new year
 Overnight Sleep in tents or just sit under the million stars experiencing the calm of nature blending with your heart & soul

DAY 4

 Day 3| RETURN

 Breakfast and tea/coffee in the morning with amazing view of Shenshar & Banaugi mountain ranges of Great Himalayan National Park before you leave
 Start your return/forward journey after goodbyes
