Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) is India’s youngest national park located in Kullu district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India.
The park was established in 1984 and is spread over an area of 1,171 km2 at an altitude of between 1500 to 6000 meters above sea level.Shanghar is a remote & exotic Himalayan hamlet at an altitude of around 6000 feet ASL situated in Sainj valley surrounded by GHNP and is home to beautiful golf ground like natural meadow which said to be belonging to local devta (god) hidden from onslaught of regular party tourists.
In this moderate trek we will take the participants to the Thini Top (10,500 Ft ASL) starting from Shanghar (6300 Ft ASL) spending one night two days in the lush green wilds of Great Himalayan National Park exploring the virgin trails of Sainj valley in depth.
