Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) is India’s youngest national park located in Kullu district in the state of Himachal Pradesh, India.
The park was established in 1984 and is spread over an area of 1,171 km2 at an altitude of between 1500 to 6000 meters above sea level.
The Great Himalayan National Park is habitat to numerous flora and more than 375 fauna species, including approximately 31 mammals, 181 birds, 3 reptiles, 9 amphibians, 11 annelids, 17 mollusks and 127 insects and off course lots and lots of virgin adventure.In June 2014, the Great Himalayan National Park was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.The Unesco World Heritage Site Committee granted the status to the park under the criteria of “outstanding significance for biodiversity conservation”.
There are two participation modes available as follows
Day 1 | 6300 FT ASL
Reach Shangharh after noon.
Check in to chalet style homestay/guesthouse
Visit the serene Shangharh meadow in the evening,spend some time and click lot of memorable pictures.
Guided visit to Shangharh Village and ancient Shangchul Mahadev temple with interaction with locals.
Witness the spectacular sunset from the meadow and move to home stay
Tea/Coffee, Dinner
Overnight stay in homestay/guest house
Day 2 | 6300 to 7300 FT ASL
Breakfast in homestay/guest house
Start trek from homestay leaving extra luggage and vehicles there
Trek through the dense Pine forest above Shangharh observing the wild life of Himalayas
Trek for 4-5 hours to reach a beautiful meadow inside the forest with veg lunch on the way
Explore the wild nature around
Tea/Coffee, Snacks
Bonfire, Dinner in the wilderness of GHNP
Overnight Stay in tents
Day 3| 7300 to 10000 to 7300 FT ASL
Tea/coffee, Breakfast (Veg/Egg) at camp site
Start trekking towards Thini top through the nature rich GHNP
Reach upper meadow at 10000 ASL after 4-5 hours of steep hike
Lunch, explore the top. Enjoy the spectacular views of high Himalayan ranges around.
Trek down to last day campsite
Tea/Coffee, Snacks
Bonfire, Dinner in the wilderness of GHNP
Overnight Stay in tents
Day 4| 7300 to 6300 FT ASL
Breakfast (Veg/Egg) in the morning with amazing view of Shenshar & Banaugi mountain ranges of Great Himalayan National Park before you leave
Trek down to Shangharh homestay/Guesthouse

Accommodation & Equipment
Stay will be provided on twin sharing basis in homestay/guesthouse on day 1
Stay will be provided in tents on sharing basis (including all quality camping equipment) on day 2 & 3.
Tent options will be 2 Men/3 Men/4 Men.
Food
Veg/Nonveg Lunch and dinner will be provided in buffet on Day 1 and 4.
Veg Camp cooked Tea, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner will be provided on Day 2 and 3.
Trek Guide & Porters
A certified guide will be escorting the group for trek in GHNP.
Porters will be provided to carry the camping equipment during the trek in GHNP.
Bonfire
Bonfire will be arranged on evening of day 2 and 3.
Permits
All required permits for GHNP will be arranged as a part of the package.
Village Walk
An escorted village walk to Shangharh meadow, the ancient village of Shagharh and Shangchul temple will be provided with interaction with the locals.
Transportation
Transportation X-Delhi will be provided for participants opting for X Delhi package. From Delhi to Aut and return a seat in AV VOLVO will be provided. From Aut to Shangharh, GHNP and return a private SUV will be provided on sharing basis. Not applicable for X Shangharh package.
Porter to carry personal stuff.They will be available on demand though.
